Route Hearing: March 6

The Transit Commission will be holding its annual route hearing in the Walnut Room at the Kansas Union 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008. All routes are up for discussion, with the possibility of any and all routes being changed or deleted. The following changes have been proposed:

1. Change 31^st & Iowa to connect directly to Park & Ride. See map here.
   
   
2. Change Naismith/Oliver route to include 24th Street, and eliminate 24th & Ridge Court route. Buses would run every 15 minutes. See map here.
   
   
3. Change 2nd & Michigan route to include Downtown route. Buses would run every 20 minutes. This would eliminate the section of the route which goes to Daisy Hill. See map here.
   
   
4. Change 15th & Crestline to include West Campus along Westbrooke Street 4-6 times per day. See map here.
   
   
5. Change Night Campus Express to a simpler route and schedule. This route would no longer run to Daisy Hill, which would instead be served at night by an additional stop on Park & Ride evening buses. See map here.
