Fare Free System

KU on Wheels is pleased to announce all students, faculty, staff, and retires may ride buses for free beginning August 18, 2008. Students passed the fare-free bus system by a 64% margin in the Spring 2008 election. On campus, anyone will be able to board any bus; no KU Card or fare will be required. Off campus, riders will only need to show their valid KU Card to board; passengers without a KU Card will pay $1 to ride.
