KU on Wheels Buses

KU on Wheels runs 9 daily bus routes when classes are in session, providing transportation for students to and from class. Eleven routes operate between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Students, faculty, and staff will need to show their KUID in order to board a bus at an off campus stop. Riders without a KUID will pay a $1.00 fare.

With the implementation of the bus acquisition fee, KU on Wheels is proud to be running 5 brand new 2008 Gillig 40ft Low Floor buses that are environmentally friendly and wheelchair accessible! These are in addition to 33 other Gillig buses. Each year, KU on Wheels will aquire between 3-5 brand new Gillig buses to maintain a current, environmentally-sound fleet.

K-10 Connector

The K-10 Connector is a service provided by The Jo (Johnson County Transit). It runs from the KU Edwards Campus and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park to the Park & Ride lot on West Campus, with additional stops at 19th & Naismith and Haskell Indian Nations University.
