KU on Wheels announces a new text message alert system. The system will alert riders of major service alerts; such as changes in routes, detours, snow days, missed trips, or other significant events affecting KU on Wheels routes. The alert software is provided by MV Transportation. All KU on Wheels riders are eligible to sign up for the free system. Users have the ability to select email, text message, and/or phone alerts.
